I don't know why people are talking about the MK storyline being fucked with. C'mon guys, not even three years ago, there was Mortal Kombat vs. DC.

ouch. That seems like a lot of $ for me just to unlock a character. As excited as I was for Freddy, I don't know. I don't see myself jumping on it now. I guess it dawns on me that $5 will buy me an entire GAME on PSN! I mean, all those PS1 imports are only $6 for instance. Or as I mentioned in another thread, the imports of MM1, 2, 3 are all on sale for $3 right now. I feel like I would have gladly paid a buck or two for an extra character. For $3 I probably would've bought him begrudgingly. But anything over that and I remember why I've never bought any DLC add-ons for a game before.

But yeah, I agree. If you're gonna have DLC for a game, at least price it reasonably. ~$1-2 for a character seems fair-ish.

Considering WB already owns the rights to the character, that is a high price to pay for a programmer to spend an hour or two designing Kruger. In fact, I've never checked, but does the new MK have a "Create a character" like most recent MK games?noiseredux wrote:available today for... $5
