Madcatz TE PS3 Sanwa Stick Issue
I swapped out the core of the sanwa stick for the round restrictor from lizard lick (http://www.lizardlick.com/Sanwa-GT-C-Ro ... p_616.html), but now I have run into a problem. Now my stick is not responding at all. I noticed when I plugged it into my computer and booted up macmame and tried to program controls for any fighter or shmup, instead of saying J1 Happ Up or any direction, it says Z Rotation +/- for up and down and Z Axis +/- for left and right. The ps3 gives me nothing as well. All buttons work correctly. Any Ideas? I'm willing to swap the small board piece of the stick that runs back with a small harness to register the directions, but I have not seen that part for sale ANYWHERE

That should be it, but I will have to take it apart again to check. Lizard lick has a video in their description of the round restrictor plate that you can pull up on youtube about how to swap it out.

you used toodles' Sanwa GT-C Round Restrictor Plate?
maybe you fried the daughterboard while swapping? do you have a multimeter to check the board connections?

Post some pics, Brad. I've done several TE mods on, but never with a round gate. It sounds like you've got too much real estate in there or something. Does your actuator look off center in the middle of the switches?

Simple actually haha. There is a switch on top that got accidentally moved off the DP setting to allow for computer use in different types of game menus. I ended up taking the entire thing apart first before I noticed that, but at least its working again.
