I know 100 percent sure the guy stole them, but I didn't see it until he was gone again. Now he's acting all upset that I think he would do such a thing. The filthy cockroach. I should break his jaw, but I already have enough problems as it is...

I wouldn't call him a friend. More like an acquaintance. One of those people that pass by your house every once in a while, but you'd rather they didn't. With good reason so it seems...AznKhmerBoi wrote:wait is this a friend or someone who happen to sit near you ?
Gonna be a hard month with 250 euro less. On top of that the vet needs to come for my sphynx girls tomorrow. As mentioned before one of them has a rash, and today I noticed her ears were swollen. So yeah, need to take care of that too. And vets / medication cost money. Sigh...

I just lost $600 worth of gaming equipment due to the postal service apparently treating my Neo-Geo like this during shipping:

No insurance. I know, I am a fucking retard for not insuring it.dsheinem wrote:lisalover1 wrote:I just lost $600 worth of gaming equipment due to the postal service apparently treating my Neo-Geo like this during shipping:

Dude, that seriously fucking sucks.
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
Well if he's sending it back, ask him to insure it in case it gets further damaged. If it is an easy fix like you say, I guess you aren't so much out $600 as you are out the cost of repairs. What kind of stuff was in a "huge lot" so that you'd trade away such a sweet AES?lisalover1 wrote:No insurance. I hope you had it insured if it was worth that much...Basically, I was trading my S-Video/UniBIOS-modded Neo-Geo AES with some games for a huge lot of stuff over at AtariAge. But, the system apparently broke in transit, and the trader is sending it back because he doesn't have time to fix it, and he refuses to let me reimburse him to have someone else fix it. The worst part was that it seemed like a really easy fix [just the power jack seemed to be damaged], but the trader said he doesn't want to put any effort into getting it working again. So, I have no other option but to just bend over and take that loss of $600 worth of gaming equipment.

Fortunately, it sounds like it is an easy enough fix if it is what I think it is. Then again, I'm not good with repairs. But, I might be able to find something by opening it.KillerJuan77 wrote:That's so not cool, can you repair it?lisalover1 wrote:I just lost $600 worth of gaming equipment due to the postal service apparently treating my Neo-Geo like this during shipping:
