Yes. Definitely. Omega Factor is awesome. Love that game.

and i might add that i cant stand the Donkey Kong Land games, when you get moving fast its hard to keep track of the terrain, but yeah Donkey Kong Country > Gameboy Donkey Kongs.
They're saying Donkey Kong '94 is better than the original Donkey Kong. Because those are actually the same type of game.

Oooooo, never noticed the capital S!
I've known that it's PlayStation, but it's faster just to type Playstation. And BTW, I believe it's actually XBOX, not Xbox. XBOX is how it's typed on the top of the system, anyhow.
I don't want to derail the thread, but I'd argue that things like "Playstation/ PlayStation" and "Xbox/ XBOX" are merely stylistic decisions for marketing purposes.
So spelling it "Playstation" is still correct. Just because you don't adhere to the specific Sony product branding naming conventions doesn't make your spelling wrong.

On that note, I never understood why Nintendo "Game Boy" is two words, but Nintendo "Gamecube" is one word. Get some consistency, Nintendo!

Super Mario Bros 2 on GBA
Final Fantasy I & II on GBA
Dragon Warrior III on GBC

These three are almost as good and still all around fantastic
Metal Gear Solid on GBC
Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2 on GBA
Tomb Raider on GBC

nope, it's Xbox. Trust me. I've spent too much time researching such matters. There are actual style guides based on official marketing, etc.

And obviously "Xbox" and "XBOX" and "xbox" are the same spelling. But I'm just pointing out that these are the way they're spelled according to official press releases and so on. Spelling it "Playstation" is not exactly WRONG, and everyone will know what you're talking about. But it's not exactly correct either.

Super Mario Deluxe definitely trumps the NES original. Just played it for myself!

Still need to check out that Battle Arena Toshinden...

What about any of the SNES ports? Anyone think they were inferior/superior? The only lacking element I've found in SNES ports on the GBA is the complexity of the music at times due to the limited number of sound channels vs. the SNES' sound chip.

I couldn't stand them personally; the physics aren't the same or something to that effect where it just didn't feel the same. A big thing that was bugging me was that you don't bounce off the blocks when you break them for instance; you just keep going through.

You mean the Super Mario ports or SNES ports in general? I hadn't really noticed any different physics on the Super Mario Advance games, but I haven't played in a while.

I was thinking about more generally, how do you think SNES ports fare on the GBA?
