Modding Japanese Sega Saturn Questions

Hi Guys

I recently bought this saturn on ebay

I want to buy a mod chip but not sure which one will work with this model of saturn?

I would be very gratful if someone can lead me to the correct modchip.

Seems a pity to mod a limited edition console. But in any case, to answer your question, you won't know until you have the cover off, or someone with this model is willing to check it for you. There are 32pin, 64pin and Sanyo boards. You can take a look at this link to get a rough idea.

I know its a pitty but i can't find any usa models in the uk that were cheaper. The games from japan cost too much money. I also didn't want to do the swap trick.

But thanks for your help, i will have a look inside when it arrives
