F-Zero GX & Logitech Speed Force

Post by D.D.D. »

So who plays with one? I've been contemplating getting one but I'm not sure it may or may not be worth the cost.
I really liked the deluxe setup in the arcade (AX) but I'm not sure how the two compare.
Any thoughts?

One thing is for sure: turn up the volume so you don't hear the damned thing... lol

Brzzz...

Also, I wonder if PS force feedback steering wheels would work on Gamecube with a PS to GC adapter.

Would be nice to be able to use my ACT-LABS Force RS on it... ^^

It's probably not as nice as the arcade setup, but probably the closest you will get short of getting a F Zero AX unit and putting it in your home. That noise it makes is rather annoying. Personally I play racers better with the standard controller. I have the Virtua Wheel for the Sega Saturn and rarely use it because I tend to suck a little more with it.

I don't recommend it. F-Zero GX is balls hard, and the steering wheel isn't sensitive enough for what GX needs.

I guess since we've had no real positive feedback on it I'm gonna pass on it. Thanks~ :)

It looks like it could be a fun novelty if you're bored of playing the game the normal way, but also, as others have said, F Zero GX is hard enough already - a steering wheel would make it even more punishing.

That's the thing... I only played AX a few dozen times but AX I thought it played really well. I do certainly agree that GX is nucking futs on difficulty but still fun. If the Speed Force isn't up to par of the AX wheel then I don't think I'm gonna wanna do this.

I have a logitech steering wheel. What a piece of crap. It's totally unresponsive.
