It's a full blown Windows 7 PC. I have no trouble using it without a keyboard. The best part is it's windows so it runs everything. Hulu? no problem. Netflix? No problem. Download a torrent? No problem. Emulate Sega Saturn? Try that on your Android! lol
I've been watching this one as well. In Amazon it even seems to come with the keyboard included but for 380 I doubt it.

Thanks for the newegg link.

EDIT: actually how did you get it for 380 - that seems quite below its market price.

I really don't get why anyone would want a computer without a keyboard. A pain typing term papers or blogs. Yeah I know a USB keyboard can be attached, but it kills the on the go portability concept.
Slate PCs tend to be much smaller and lighter than convertible tablet PCs. If what you're doing is primarily pen based, then they can make sense. For example, the Fujistu slate demo unit I was sent a few years ago wasn't much larger than the screen itself on their convertible tablets we were buying.

Not all usage would really permit the convenient use of a keyboard, so if that's your primary use, then why not make the keyboard modular?
