What song is stuck in your head right now?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Thanks luke.
Barbecue sauce.
I just had a BBQ pork rib sandwich, coincidentally.
I actually made baby back ribs last night for dinner. :)

Honestly, they were the best I've had in my life. Bought the ribs from THE FRESH MARKET at only $4 a lb. I asked them to remove the membrane, which they did, and the pork was never frozen and that makes a ton of difference.

Fall off the bone, succulent, pork. I'll post pics later.

Just look at the marbling in this 4 lb. hunk of deliciousness:

Edit* I may have to go back to THE FRESH MARKET for more. Even the leftovers are to die for. It's just that the amount of pork on these ribs (never frozen) is worth every penny. Actually, I'd pay well over $4 a lb.

I ended up getting the 'Cotton' ad before some youtube videos yesterday and I woke up with 'The Fabric of our lives' stuck in my head this morning.

Not for pork ribs actually (at least off the top of my head). But for sure it would include smoked paprika, brown sugar, pressed fresh garlic, cayenne, and onion salt (very light on the herbs).

But as a consolation recipe, I think the best rub for salmon is equal parts of coriander, cumin, and fennel. Salmon will always taste like salmon, but this rub brings out more flavor from the fish.

Fun fact: Australians call cilantro coriander, and call coriander coriander. Now coriander is the seed of the cilantro plant, so that's fair, but it is interesting that we in the States differentiate the plant from the seed.

Ooh. I made a soy-maple glaze for salmon the other day that was divine.

The maple kind?

Never gets old to me.

Soy-maple screams for scallions as a garnish.
