No RPG's? Lunar 1 and 2, Vay, and Popful Mail are great. Dark Wizard is a good strategy game, it's the pre-cursor to Dragon Force. Also, there are some other good shmups like Robo Aleste, Lords of Thunder, Silpheed and Keio Flying Squadron. Heart of the Alien is nice collection of the Flashback series. Plus it's got the only arcade perfect version of Final Fight. Personally I love my Sega CD, it's a very cool era of gaming. All the looks of a 16 bit system, but cd quality sound and some cool cut scenes. You're right about all the FMV crap, and there is way too much of it. But it's got at least 10-15 great games and about that many more mediocre titles.dudex77 wrote:I bought time gal and road avenger a couple months ago at a market for like 2 euros or something and they wouldn't work for me in any emulator despite being in perfect conditionI might consider buying a mega cd but that would only be if I got a copy of Sonic CD since the games I have look like shitty fmv games. In my oppinion there are only like 5 decent Sega CD games; Sonic CD, Snatcher, Android Assault, Terminator, and Ecco the Dolphin CD.
I'd have to say that I think the 32x is mostly crap. I don't think there is a single game on there that I liked. Maybe that humming bird shooter game(can't remember ther name) but thats it.
Also, are you sure the Power Base doen't fit on the model 2 genny. Because i was pretty sure it did. You sure?

Older. Not wiser.
Have all the happy thoughts you want, I just don't see why Sega would take such a risky and stupid business venture to create a new console in an evironment where the market is entirely saturated with hardware and an environment where it is increasingly difficult to sell software and in an environment where Sega isn't exactly the hottest brand going.
Why can't Sega simply create Sonic Adventure 3 for XBOX 360, PS3 and Wii? Three times the market (and an already existing market for that matter) and much less monetary risk than to create a new console (which would have to have a market created for it in the first place) and limit your sales to just that venue.
The current Sega also doesn't have the powerful thinkers and doers they once had which made the Genesis/MegaDrive such a success. Heck, they can't even make games we all just HAVE to have let alone know how to design a new console. I also don't think the buying public would be lining up to buy said console given Sega's past of dropping support for their hardware prematurely in the business cycle. They would have an almost impossible time signing up 3rd parties to support any new hardware.
