I'm buying my first Gamecube and I'm looking around at various bundles (mostly on ebay) to try and save money no multiple items that I would have bought for it in time.
Anyways, it looks like there are a few different brands of LCD Screens, and I'm sure some are better than others. The only brands I can name off the top of my head are Intec and GF, but I think I've seen one or two others. Of the ones that come in black (probably most of them), which one is the best. What ones do you guys own and like? Any downsides to the one you have? Dislikes? Links to reviews?
Just don't want to end up with a piece of shit you know, since they're all third party, and therefore aren't accountable for Nintendo's reputation.

This probably isn't much help, but I have an Intec screen for my PS2 and it's pretty darn good. Very decent sound as well, especially when using headphones. I understand that there are more than one version of the Intec PS2 screen available and the one I got is the "good" version. Don't know if this situation exists on the GC version or not. On the PS2 version, the "5-inch" screen version is the good one and the "5.4-inch" version is not. Mine even has S-video input. It's a good little unit. I even use it regularly as a personal DVD player.

intec screen is the 5 inch version
interact screen is the 5.4 inch version
zennith is a 5 inch version and round
all others arent even worth looking at
the zennith screen is a piece of crap
its been reported having lines of dead pixels missing from it
the interact screen is a bit stretched by the .4 inches and isnt as good as the interact screen
interact basically slides or sits on top the game cube and
the intec pops in to the handle
both intec and interact fold with the use of hindges ontop the game cube

Gamecube lcd screen
I have a zenith gamecube screen and it looks pretty good for a $20.00 screen. I have been looking into getting one of those Headplay personal cinema displays which simulates a 52" screen and it reviewed rather well from a number of different sources bad part its $500.00. It hooks up to just about anything with video outs I will post if I do get one with a full review.

Re: Gamecube LCD Screens
found this thread and decided to bump, as I'd like to hear some new thoughts on the various models based on recent experience?
Re: Gamecube LCD Screens
The best 5" screen for the Gamecube HANDS DOWN is the Zenith screen. It is the exact same screen as the Sony Psone screen. Same exact lcd/board/speakers/etc.
And yes I have tested all the screens made for the Gamecube.

You might look into a Joytech screen, I have one for my PS2 slim, and it's awesome.
