Well to be honest I am kind of being two faced here, I have been feeling pretty down and frustrated this entire week. There's no real reason or anyone specifically to be mad at and I certainly know it's been tough for everyone out there, but yeah. Just a bad week and I've been getting increasingly irritated about the job search, fixing that huge dept I might be having soon isn't looking good, it's starting to feel like my house is prison, and everything. Feeling a little better today and yesterday though, I should probably chill with some friends tonight to get my mind off things.

But yeah I do appreciate the tips everyone and I could just be feeling a little pessimistic here, it might be a little late today but perhaps I'll give the woman I've been in contact with a call and if anything leave a message.

How the fuck big is your desk?

For clarification, I said "desk".

French use QWERTZ too. Always throws me off when I write French in my papers (I use their layout to have easy access to é^çàèù).

Chin up man.

I have 3 degrees (one an MBA) from a great University, countless certificates, and have owned a business since I was 17, and it took me over two years to find a career path that would suit. I searched day and night on websites like monster/yahoo jobs/etc and sent out over 500 resumes a day; and it was a waste of time.

FIRST! Contact your school and see who has connections, that's you best bet. Then contact friends, and lastly family. A killer resume helps, but if you can speak with someone it makes all the difference. Career fairs are all over the place, all the time, so make sure to search for ones in your area.

But I know you're down so please take this advice: Watch the movie MR.MOM. It's a great tale of unemployment, and although you may think being unemployed sucks, there will be times (trust me) when you do have a job when you wish you could just slack off. And your house can be a prison if you let it, but I've followed my 55:5 (sometimes 50:10) rule since I was in college. Work your ass off, 100% for 55 minutes, then take a 5 minute break. Or work as hard as you can for 50 minutes, then take a 10 minute break. You'll work harder, and enjoy your time off more if you are really motivated.

Smile: Resumed the Summer Game Challenge again after a long period of just playing whatever. Time to at least beat one title before summer ends.
Ticked: Castlevania Bloodlines is more challenging than I thought. Im still stuck on the 2nd level. I hate water levels.

You'll get there eventually. Relax...

Thanks guys, heh. Good ol' Sunscreen.

Luke, funny enough I was just talking with my dad about that stuff and as always he started getting argumentative about going back to school or getting into special training, maybe a trade school, maybe even doing the reserves, etc. Was totally not in the mood for such a discussion today. YES, I do want to get back to school myself and at least get an AAS (close to getting one in Electronics or Information Technology), even if that's not much it's something, and then maybe some certifications right now. But right now I just feel like I'm completely in the position where the main priority is that I just need to work again for awhile and get some income coming in again. Was just another annoying discussion with him, bleh lol.

I know myself and I went back to school all three semesters last year, but yeah. I just need to work and keep busy to stay healthy mentally. Just the type that needs a little order and scheduling in my life to keep things good, which hasn't been the case this year. That seasonal job was really random and yeah... so yeah the frustration is just piling up lately, but like I'm saying it's just... one of those days. I'm about to head out and just relax for the night though, and uh... did some more yoga today which was fun, haha. Planning on hitting up a gym membership sometime when I can, I'm sure that'll help with my stress/anxiety junk going on lately too.

But yeah, I'm keeping up with my friends about it and have sent some applications out to other places they're at. In fact one of my friends is at another call center, not making quite as much as Farmers Insurance offered or that great of benefits, but if I got in there and got some experience, that could be good in the future for another better position in that kind of entry level area.

I'll keep it up, everyday is a new day. So, just gotta remember that when I wake up tomorrow and channel this frustration into work (to get a job) and hopefully find something soon, heh.

Yeah I tried to use a French keyboard once. I just started automatically typing without looking and I was confused why everything was coming out all weird :? Actually looking down on the keyboard was the last thing to occur to me
