That is the funniest/sarcastic delivery ever.GamerMON wrote: Uh, I deliver pizza for a living.
Take!
"Uh, I bag groceries for a living, of course I know what pot looks like".
"Uh, I went to clown college, of course I know what weed looks like".
I'm not degrading your job, I just find it hilarious you responded with "Uh, I deliver pizza for a living" like it gives you any credentials. And if you read my post, you'd see "Probably not", so I was just having fun with ya, but "Uh, I deliver pizza for a living" is quote worthy.

Did you send a thank you note?
Re: What Made you Smile/What Ticked you off Today?
I did on Tuesday, the day after my phone interview. I sent an email only though, I figured it'd get across to an extent since the lady that's been emailing me information and has answered some questions for the past two weeks is the same lady that interviewed me over the phone (and I think she was the one who helped us with the pre-employment testing on campus that I did last week). So I emailed her my appreciation, thanks to her and the company, and some other quick thoughts just finalizing I think I'd be a great candidate (without being too pushy though).
I dunno my dad thinks by now I would have gotten a call back, although he's generally kind of practical/negative about these kind of things, lol. Well if it happens then that's amazing, but if not I just gotta keep my chin up and continue to throw out more applications and keep an eye out on things.

There's always the chance they'll put your information on record and you might get a call sometime down the road, too. Sounds like you have the right attitude though, if this doesn't work out, then just keep your head up and keep moving forward.

I had no idea there were any kinds of keyboards other than QWERTY and DVORAK. Never heard of a AZERTY keyboard.elmagicochrisg wrote:Only Belgium and France, apparently...lisalover1 wrote:Who uses AZERTY keyboards anymore? It feels awkward, but you may even want to call and ask if the position has been filled.
Just trying to help.
But hey, something just made me smile. A friend of mine invited me out to dinner with he and some of his old college friends. I called a restaurant, made reservations, and asked for pink balloons to be tied to the chairs.

^Even when I put an offer out on someone - it can take our HR department up to 2 weeks in some cases to let the applicant know. Weekends, holidays, and other backlog really slow down the process. And depending on size of company - backgrounds, occ. health, risk management, etc - just place a friendly call and see where its at.
Also, sometimes companies have more than one candidate they are considering. So until option 1 accepts or declines the offer, they may not have any information to give option 2, thus no phone call or letter.

Frown: just found an old peanut butter sandwich on my desk back in the dark, unknown areas, old and hard. Who knows how long that's been there? And I know I didn't do it, because I don't like peanut butter sandwiches.
