That one's old and boring, this one's minty fresh.

Well, I guess that's as good a reason as anyway. By all means, folks, continue. Rah! Rah! Gamestop sucks but I will keep shopping there anyway! Rah!
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

It wouldn't be exciting here in these forums if we didn't have a thread that ranted on GameStop every couple of months. The other thread was an impressive 70+ pages long. Will this new thread break the record?

I do find it interesting to read people's experiences with GameStop and their rants. Personally, I have no issues with them but I'm like Noiseredux where I go only for the deals (e.g, $1 GC BBA, $20 NIB GameCube, $20 Gameboy Micro, $2 GBA case, etc).

In any case, I agree that the OP had a horrible experience with the store and I hope that it is resolved to his satisfaction.

Well, if they didn't drive out every business within a 10 mile radius of each store location, we wouldn't have to.

In all seriousness though, the only reason any of us still shop there is obviously because of the very cheap PS2 games as of late. What happened to winds is far from a mindless "Gamestop sucks" rant. It is pure bullshit.

It's not the OP's fault, but the "worst experience" thread basically turned into another "Gamestop is evil" thread so they were ripe for merging. Do keep us updated here, though.

Yeah Gamestop blows, hard, and stuff like that.
But yeah, I haven't bought stuff there in years but I still pop into the Ala Moana one as people who work there are pretty nice and chill AKA not a bad way to kill time as the wife goes shopping. The Socal ones are filled with A-holes it seems.

Well, I have an update on my experience with gamestop, though it's very anti-climatic.
The district manager called me today and asked me about the situation. After I finished telling him my story he apologized about everything and told me he already spoke with the manager in question and told him that kind of behaviour was inexcusable. He asked me what I wanted from the situation but I just said what's done is done and I just won't continue to shop at that location anymore, instead going to the other one near my house which is much better. He again apologized and told me that he'd keep this file on record for any future complaints made about this manager, if there is any.

Hahaha, I had actually forgot about that option at the time :(. Maybe I should call back haha.

Out of curiosity, how much is the gift card they usually give away in situations like this ?
