This news just made my day and I haven't even played the new Mortal Kombat. This is one bit of DLC I would pay for! Freddy Krueger is the perfect choice of guest characters for the MK world.

im kinda on the boat about this, i mean where does he even fit in the mk story line?

yeah, freddy does not fit in the story. it's cool to have him as a character but this is just pointless... where is Jason? didn't he beat him on that one movie... or where is:
