Decent Co-op titles on Wii

Post by Balasubbie »

Hey again,
The other half and I recently 100 percented Donkey Kong Country Returns and are
in the market for another decent co-op title. Any ideas? We've burned through Mario
Bros. Wii too, so I'm a bit stuck for ideas beyond that.

The multiplayer must be the worst I have ever seen in a game. One plays normally, the other just gets another crosshair to shoot the very static enemies of the game with. Not fun.

In all honesty, it's really just a single player experience.

Agreed. With the second player being invicible there is hardly any challenge to the game. My brother and I played the co-op and got very bored.

Zombie Panic In Wonderland (Wii download)
Wild Guns (SNES VC)

Heck, there are plenty of VC titles with good co-op modes...

I haven't played it but I'm pretty sure Kirby's Epic Yarn has co-op, and the new Kirby game is going to have co-op too.

Kirby's Epic Yarn does indeed have a co-op mode.

There are a TON of WiiWare games that have co-op. GyroStarr and Contra: ReBirth are both pretty good examples.

Don't forget you can also play as a team against the computer in Mario Kart Wii--although it isn't much challenge if either of you are any good at it.
