window 7 hangs at boot after installing ubuntu 11.04

can someone help me out?

the windows im running is 7 premium and for some odd reason after a few reboot i get this error message " disk error "

so im really clueless what to do next, because i cant go into
-safe mode
-ubunti
-win7
Only thing i can do is go into check disk for error

I dont have a boot CD or disk ... so what to do what to do


-also could the problem occur because i shut down the comp many times during load time, crashes, etc....

i am not really sure, but even if i did i cant even get into safemode or anything.
Also when i install ubuntu i did that online and didnt create a boot cd.

I dont really care about windows now, and just wondering if this could work.
Do you think i should download and burn a boot disk of unbuntu 11.04 and just pop that when i boot it up. Hopefully it would just overwrite everthing ?

burn a boot cd for ubuntu and try to fix the wubi. or wipe the hard drive with the boot cd if you dont care.

yea ill probably just wipe it clean, but can i do this with the ubuntu boot cd? because i dont have any disk for window 7

unbuntu can and will erase your hard drive. you can also test ubuntu (non-install) if you want to rescue any data. i used a pc with a ubuntu disc to rescue my gf's mac hdd data.

personally think i should wipe off win7 and just use ubuntu? or you think i should try to recover win7 and duel it?

Aso for recovering i dont really have anything on windows so i wont lose much in terms of data.

Also note that this is not a gaming rig or anything just a computer i want to use for some media and internet etc...

i would say wire and just use ubuntu. if it isn't for gaming and just media and surfing ubuntu is better.
