So I just picked up an orphan Wii from Bodmin here.
I got:
2 Wiimotes
1 Motion Plus Attachment
2 Nunchuks
2 Classic controllers
2 Driving Wiieels (lol)
2 3rd party NGC controllers
What I already have:
2 Wavebirds
4 NGC controllers
What I'm thinking about getting is:
Charging Dock station to charge 2 wiimotes (would these come with batteries?)
2 more wiimotes
3 or less Motion Plus Attachments (depending if i find the combined wiimotes)
2 gun housings (possibly auto or rapid fire)
2 classic controller attachments to look like the pro
1 3rd party Wiifit board
Does anyone have any recommendations? Or am I missing anything except for the silly baseball bats, rackets, clubs and so on.

Re: Wii Accessories
I'm on the fence about it. Pretty soon I'll have 2 arcade sticks that will connect through the NGC ports. I just wanted the grips for the og CC.swiftzx wrote:You need a Classic Controller Pro. (1st party)

Re: Wii Accessories
you shouldn't get a charge station. Nintendo doesn't endorse them, and there's a reason they haven't released on themselves. They break Wii remotes. I would use rechargeables like the Sanyo Eneloop
Re: Wii Accessories
Get a Mayflash PS2 to Wii Controller Adaptor. The best way to play Geometry Wars!

Ufff, boy - I really disagree. I bought this charger a full year ago and I could not recommend it more. It is amazing - it comes w/4 rechargeable packs. What's awesome about it:Jamisonia wrote:you shouldn't get a charge station. Nintendo doesn't endorse them, and there's a reason they haven't released on themselves. They break Wii remotes. *It can hold the wiimote and output a charge THROUGH the silicon cover (the magnet is that strong)
*They hang in the air - which not only looks cool, but no trying to make sure you set it in the grooves or anything.
*It can support wiimotes, wiimote w/motionplus plugs, and wiimotes w/motionplus built-in. Ie, not matter what you have, you don't have to remove your silicon sleeve, your nunchuk or anything else, you grab it play, put it back on the charger.
*Mine is jet black w/white, red, and blue LED's (white = no wiimote on the dock, red = charging, blue=charged)
*It's freaking sexy.
Cons:
*None, although now they are harder to find and more pricey.
To note, after 1 year, i've had ZERO battery power or any other problems whatsoever.
Additionally my parents have the older nyko quad charger, for almost 3 years. They still have the original included battery packs and the original wiimotes they bought brand new 3 years ago - again zero issues. Though there charger requires removing the nunchuk or sleeve each time they charge.

Re: Wii Accessories
I have the Nyko quad charger and it still working good after two years. The build quality of the charger is somewhat junky as I've had two of the LED charging lights go out. No other issues. And no, it doesn't break Wii remotes. The only way I see that happening is if the battery explode or corrodes.mjmjr25 wrote:Additionally my parents have the older nyko quad charger, for almost 3 years. You can get one a bit cheaper if you pick up a copy of Red Steal 2 that's bundled with the attachment. It's between 9.99-19.99 depending on the Wal-Mart in the area.vlame wrote:So I just picked up an orphan Wii from Bodmin here.

If you're referring to things like the Nyko Perfect Shot, then I just saw them clearanced at K-Mart for around $8. So if that's what you're looking for, then you can get 2 for the price of 1vlame wrote: ....
