I might have screwed up, but I counted 219 games in that list.
That comes out to a little over 1.60 a game right? Sounds worth it to me. Of course the actual value of each game isn't equal, but I'm just saying.
Especially since you probably could have sold them individually for more than that. I certainly would have bought a few of them off of you.
You'd probably be stuck with most of the sports games, but...
The inclusion of the sega cd makes a difference too. The RAM cart alone usually sells for about 30 bucks.
I would have gone for it, but others may disagree.

I also think it would have been worth it. But would have been a lot of work to sell off the ones you didn't want and there are a lot of sports games to deal with. Obviously would have to have a fair amount of money to float it before you caught back up.

Yeah, I would say you done screwed up. Per-game that is a freaking steal.

Hmm, thanks for the adjusted total on the games, I think I forgot to remove the letters for each section before counting it in MS Word.
I didn't really do the math I guess, at close to 1.50 a game it isn't a bad deal but I'd be stuck with a lot of those games. Considering my inventory of "non-valuable" sega games is already high I wasn't too interested in getting more... plus i've been pretty lazy on the selling front the past few months.
This bundle is actually still available, everyone in my area is a cheap SOB for sega stuff and there aren't many willing to take on 200 sega games.
Its been a few weeks and they haven't sold it, so it may have worn them down in to the high 200 range?

New email, lower offer, but it's still worth it. Go for it!

If I was you, I'd wait for Payday, then head back down there to see if the seller still has this collection for sale. If you can negotiate that price down a bit, all the better.

If you buy it would you sell me the Sega CD Model 2?
Re: I Passed on 200+ CiB Genesis Games, Mistake?
a bundle like that will not sell fast, not on craigslist. The fact is unwilling to split it up is what does that in. Its cheap per game, but $350 is a lot up front money. The biggest mistake this guy has made is choosing craigslist as his medium. I would wait till you can afford it and offer less. I am reasonably confident he will be sitting on that bundle for a while, so that gives you time to wait and price him down

That may in fact be his intention.Jamisonia wrote:a bundle like that will not sell fast, not on craigslist.
