Studio Ghibli is raising the bar for anime related games

Both games have been confirmed for US release but as far as time frame goes, we have to be patient. These games do not even have a release date in Japan yet. Expect them later next year would be my estimate.

Is the DS version of this game still being localized? There has been no news about it since the small blurb about it in nintendo power. With the latest news of xenoblade having no plans to reach US shores I have a bad feeling this one will end up the same .

I heard that this game's cartridge will be 4GB when it is released. It is mind-blowing to think that a DS cartridge will be over twice as big as the maximum capacity of a UMD.

Someone mentioned wishing Square Enix were making the game. I'm glad they are not since I would like if the game were actually good. If it were the 90s I would be delighted to see Square making the game.

I actually thought that too haha. But it's actually 4Gb not 4GB, so 512mb is the actual size of the cartridge.

Raising the bar for anime games, huh? I'll not believe it till I see it. I still remember Sega saying that the Iron Man game was going to redefine how we thought of movie games.

Just from watching that it seems they did a wonderful job capturing the Studio Ghibli feel on the DS.
I really hope they still plan to localize it, if not I might just have to end up importing that, even though I can't read Japanese .
