Any other Yu-Gi-Oh! players?
Re: Any other Yu-Gi-Oh! players?
I have been getting back in Yugioh recently as well. I hope we use this thread to talk with other people about the card games as well.

Re: Any other Yu-Gi-Oh! players?
I am a fan too! Five, six years ago at the height of its popularity, I would buy cards and resell them to the kids in the neighborhood! I would sell them and I never really cared for the game. But seeing the kids play and them teaching me, I got hooked.
I still have my deck that I use, but every year the rules change and my deck pretty much became useless.
I havent really bought any lately at the store, because I find some cards all the time at the fleamarkets. One time for $10 I got a whole lot of them, they were in a paper bag and it was half full of them. Lots of commons and quite a few rares mixed in them. I have a whole bunch left over now!
I havent bought any of the newer stuff, Since the kids that I sold cards to are all older now and moved away.
Dont really care for the recent manga in Shounen Jump, Those turbo duels are dumb! I liked the first yugioh. The second, GX was okay. But I'm not feeling the newest series.

Lol, I had to pretty much scrap my old deck since I got destroyed in duels. Also, I really don't like Synchros that much. For anyone who knows the game, I recently made a Fairy deck and would like to know what you think of it.

Re: Any other Yu-Gi-Oh! players?
I used to play this all the time with my friends when we were still in school. We still occasionally get a game together, but not often. I still have several boxes/binders of cards, as well as several decks, including a pretty beastly Fusion Summon deck. Anyone know which video game versions play most like the card game?

Every single GBA/DS version except The Sacred Cards on GBA.

This is a great site for dueling, as long as you can find an actual dueler and not a troll.
However, I've been having to read up on way too many cards, and as time goes on, everything seems more and more ridiculous to me. I'm gonna hate to see what Zexal, the 4th anime series introduces.
In fact after taking a quick look at what has been shown in Japan, another new archetype (XyZ) with 99 members sounds just fascinating.

Anyone play the GBA cart versions? I have an opportunity to buy some cheap, no idea if any are worth the trouble to patiently figure out and play.

I have The Sacred Cards, which was pretty fun. I hear it's the worst of the bunch though, or at least not near the top.CRTGAMER wrote:Anyone play the GBA cart versions? I have an opportunity to buy some cheap, no idea if any are worth the trouble to patiently figure out and play.
Try going for one of the yearly releases like 2002 or something, those are often no nonsense straight up Yu-Gi-Oh! games that shouldn't be too complicated to play.
