The mystical ninja series is pretty great, but not in a cool-ninja sort of way I'd say.

Yeah! I love the second one on the SNES (errr.... SFC) the best. Less text, more destroying exploding bunnies and riding on giant ancient mechas.

I'd like a proper sequel to the Tenchu series instead of the shit they've been releasing since Wrath of heaven. There's so much that could be done with that series. Same with Shinobi.

as much as i love ninja's, i think we need more mech games. not enough of those compared to ninja's. and for god sake, NO MORE NARUTO!!!!!!!!!!!! PERIOD!!! i want real ninja's (and the mystical ninja games too) not kids who move their hands around a lot and talk about their problems....during a fight!!

a proper tenchu squeal would be nice, i always enjoyed them for the reason that it was a game that actually tried to simulate what a real ninja would be.

The team responsible for Tenchu 1 & 2 had nothing to do with Wrath of Heaven and beyond. They went on to start another series, Shinobido. Shinobido plays like a natural evolution of the Tenchu series. Most of the complaints people had with the first and second Tenchus have been addressed in Shinobido.

Shinobido 2 has already been announced for the PS Vita. The PSP release was a lot of fun. It consisted of multiple, bite sized levels. The best feature was multiplayer. Imagine a 4 player Tenchu where you can assassinate each other.
