Get Colonies? (Dreamcast import)

Post by GagaMan »

I hear the title of this game get dropped in Dreamcast import trends quite often followed by "It's awesome" and I've stumbled upon a cheap copy of it on Ebay, and might add it to my final order of games I'm buying from this guy if someone can give me any more info, as there seems to be next to nothing: no videos, screens, just this page:

I like me some good puzzle games, can anyone here who may of played it recommended it? I just don't wanna end up with another Japanese game that makes no sense and is almost unplayable like so many games in the past.

I highly recommend it. You need little to no japanese at all. It's a puzzle/strategy game. It's a little like chinese checkers. Marbles on a play field, you can either 'copy' a marble to an adjacent square or jump an existing marble over a square. Surround the opponent to steal their territory. It's probably one of my favorite Dreamcast games. Simple but a lot of fun.

It's actually a re-skin of Hello Kitty's Fruit Factory if you want to learn more about the gameplay. It's addictive.

Well, seeing as I was outbid on Sexy Parodius and Power Drift, I bought it alongside Bomberman Fight and Clockwork Knight Collection. Look forward to trying it out, I likes me a good puzzle game. =)
