Post your most horrible life experiences from any time you've had to endure someone in a multiplayer game acting like a dick.
Earlier today I was playing Team Fortress 2. I was playing pyro when someone said that we needed a heavy. No one else was switching to heavy so I figured I would for the good of the team. Then all three of our medics decided to completely ignore me even while in the middle of fights against enemies and would instead run off to heal our engineers who were getting attacked by a demoman. Now yes I understand it's important to keep the engineers alive, but did all three of them really have to go to there aid and leave me by myself? The one and only point where a medic made any acknowledgement of my existence was while I was fighting a soldier and he came over and uber charged me for about 2 seconds (Not even long enough for me to kill the soldier) before running off somewhere else. Then another soldier and a pyro came running around the corner and promptly kicked my ass. Oh, but it get's better. I then pointed out how stupid it was to not heal the heavy at all when he's in the middle of a fight and one person (One of the medics) started telling me how it was my fault that our team lost because I just didn't know how to play. And then he gloated about how he was able to kill two whole people with his bonesaw that were trying to capture the point. Wow.

I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

Probably just about every time I've ever played a Halo game online.

Yeah it happened to me halo 1, everyone kept attacking certain every few seconds... re-spawing got lamer. I remember a time when sniping was fun, but not in halo games. Someone was acting like a dick when I was trying move/runaway.... (MGS4) he kept on attacking me for no good reason, same tactic.

TF2 is full of new members at the moment, many of which would not even understand the value of a Heavy/Medic combo, I was playing last night and was a scout and got uber'ed by a new member.
Re: Idiots In Online Games
Playing SOCOM online, I was having a good game versus the other team. This one guy was always camping sitting behind some rock in our spawn area and I noticed it so, I would regularly go back shoot him and then carry on. I must have shot him 6 times in one match while trying this.
Then the next game came, same teams, new map of course and nearest I can figure is this guy changed teams (switched and joined my team now) and started swearing at me over the mic. WTF? So, I just dismissed it until I kept getting stabbed, shot, and generally F'd over via a team kill, which of course made the game completely unplayable for me.
Nearest I can figure is, during the first game I pizzed this 'camper' kid off enough he switched teams only to stalk me, swear at me in French over the mic and team kill me repeatedly during the next game out of some kind of revenge.

I play Battlefield 2: Bad Company... alot. And, usually, I play the rush game.
The major problem with BF2:BC is that its a cerebral game and idiots are common. If someone is acting like a moron, in such a team based game, it becomes wickedly apparent. Each and every time I play, it's almost inevitable that we have "snipers". These are the schmucks who set-up camp on your home-base, a million miles away from any objective, and very slowly attempt to pick off the other team.
They don't help control an area, don't help you achieve any strategic objectives. They just sit there, almost like a man on the bench. Even on the rare occassions when I get picked off by a sniper, I'm usually more than happy to let him keep going about his business. Yeah, I could kill him, but he's being so effectivce in bringing the other team down.
Last night I played a game where we lost horribly mid game, because one member of our team grabbed the tank. Four other members were behind the tank, sniping. The tank managed to spend the entire time firing _over_ the enemies. If he did any damage, it was to the trees behind the enemy, which would have provided cover for the next stage. Amazingly, we managed to get the com station charged a couple times. Four "snipers", a tank, and time after time the enemy disarmed our charge. It's like being on a game 12 against 7, with one of your most powerful weapons removed from play.
Idiots.

The other day I was playing Borderlands and a random guy jumped in my game with an overleveled character and started bitching about everything (such as the fact that I wasn't able to kill enemies with one shot like him).
He was also trying to show me his mad skills all the time too. Like super jumping with a sticky grenade. I was so bored.
Then he proceeded to run our car into a chemical barrel and kill us both.

I get idiots all the time on League of Legends. Usually it's people who either don't understand how to play their character effectively or understand why the enemy character keeps taking them to town. And then there's the people who are like "it's 30 minutes in and the enemy team is moving around as a group, but I'm going to run around solo through an area with a ton of blind spots and wonder why I get murdered."

Have lots of fun TF2 stories. Guy was trying Spy for the first time, gets behind a sniper who does not notice him at all, and instead of the backstab, pulls out an Ambassador, and meticulously aims for a headshot. For like, 2 minutes. Enough time for an enemy spy to get behind him, backstab him, and run away.
Six different guys kept micspamming the mario theme all at different times, so nobody could talk over the game. Called it "strategy", and called the admins nazis when they were silenced.
when the engineer update happened, I was in a game where everybody was an engie. It was awful. So of course I go Demoman and unleash Scottish Hell. Get kicked for "griefing" after dominating the admin.

Re: Idiots In Online Games
I'd have to go with just about every Call of Duty game I have played online for the most part. It seems pretty common though with just about any mulitplayer online game. I just ignore it and don't feed into it.
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!
