Best Sega genesis RPG?

I am going pickup my genesis model 2 from my parents house. I want to buy a good RPG for it. What is the best one? Thanks.

The Phantasy Star and Shining Force series are both excellent. Phantasy Star 4 is my favorite of those.

The cd add on will give you access to both lunar games

Beyond Oasis is pretty good. it uses a similar gameplay formula like the 2D Zelda.

I would love the cd add on but it so hard to find. Also shining force is it similar to Final fantasy or Dragon quest in terms of gameplay?

Strategy RPG, think more like Fire Emblem in battles

Pier Solar

Shining Force is a turn based tactical RPG. You have an army of up to 12 dudes who take turns moving around a grid and attacking your opponents. It's similar to Fire Emblem.

Pier Solar looks sweet. I cannot figure out were to buy it though...
