I've literally wanted to buy a Twin Stick since the Sega Saturn days, but I've never gotten around to grabbing one. I actually have some spare money, and I'd like to finally rectify that, but I'm having trouble deciding which model to buy.
I prefer Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram on the Dreamcast to Cyber Troopers on the Saturn, but playing GunGriffon II on the Saturn with the Twin Stick just seems incredibly awesome. I'd thought the obvious answer would be to grab the Saturn model and use a Total Control 3 converter to play them on the Dreamcast as well, but I've heard a few reports that there are compatibility issues... and just as many reports of people seeming to have a great time playing with that setup.
Can anyone verify if using the Total Control 3 to play Virtual On: Oratorio Tangram with the Saturn Twin Stick is an effective solution? If not, which console offers the compatible library which would get the most mileage out of a Twin Stick?
Should I buy the Saturn or Dreamcast Twin Stick?

I own the Total Converter 3 - it has a Twin Stick switch on it so I would think the compatibility isn't an issue. I don't own the sticks to test; surely others can help with that.
