1. Zelda: Link To the Past (SNES)
2. Donkey Kong Country (SNES)
3. Pikmin (Wii)(Whatever, I consider it necessary reading for GC/Wii owners)
4. Okami (Wii)
5. Super Mario Galaxy (Wii)
6. Megaman Battle Network 5: Team Colonel (GBA)
7. Elite Beat Agents
8. Perfect Dark (N64)
9. Super Mario Brothers 3(All-Stars Version)
10. Sonic The Hedgehog 2(Mega Collection Versions)

Well, I spotted Elite Beat Agents and decided to buy it. Holy hell this game fun! I also realized that I wasn't really enjoying Sam & Max, which was subject to change the whole time anyway. I thus changed it. I think I'll count either finishing the story on Cruisin' or finishing it on whatever difficulty I unlock above that one as finished.

yeah I'm kinda surprised too. Especially so early in. Personally, I'm looking at my pile and saying to myself "dammit, I should've picked more short games." But that's it. That's my list, so I still wanna see what happens with it through the Summer.

Yeah, I didn't get through the last few on my list last year, but the ones I did finish were all titles that I had considerd classics that I wanted to play through. I got more from getting through what I did than I would have by subbing games that were shorter but more managable. Foks might find it more rewarding to finish 5 games that are longer/more challenging than they would to beat 10 that were finished for the sake of completeing some arbitrary goal.

I think my problem is that I started Dragon Age II and plan on playing Fallout: New Vegas afterwards.

You two have convinced me to keep my list. Bullies! Dragon Age II is consuming my life!

Just finished the penultimate draft of my thesis. Going to bed now (been up all night with no sleep), but starting tomorrow I can get back on this!

At 4 hours into FFVIII now. My characters all just spontaneously fell asleep and now I'm playing some kind of side story with some mercenaries it seems. Man Squall is such a douche. In fact none of the characters seem that likable so far. Today is a busy day at home so I wont be able to start anything else yet.

Damn, I have too many freaking games! I'm still working on The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX on GB Color and it's still early in the game. I just saved the Chomp Chomp pet from the Moblins. I'm having fun though being that I have never played any Zelda games through aside from the NES games. At this rate I'm not sure I'll have all the Zeldas on all Game Boy systems completed by the Summer's end but we'll see.
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

Been at a festival all week, so I haven't made much progress.

Banjo Kazooie I played again tonight, I completed bubblegloop swamp which I found to be an excellent level, and Freezeezy Peak which I found to be not so great. I made a start on Gobi's Desert, but after a cheap death from a timed maze, I found my willpower to continue had abandoned me, so that's enough for now. I hope the levels get a bit better than these two, I quite enjoyed the first 4.

As for FFIX, I haven't made any progress for a good week, but I'm still plugging away at disc 2. I just arrived on the games second continent, and I don't think it's too long before I get Eiko, but I'm not sure. My current team is Zidane, Quina, Garnet, Vivi, which isn't a bad team, although I wish I had another attacker, as having 3 mages is a bit much. Quina isn't so bad at attacking, but his/her random damage factor makes things awkward.

Does Quina get any decent attack magic btw? I have frog drop, but it's underpowered with the amount of frogs i currently have, plus pumpkin head which relies on me having low hp and aqua breath which is expensive and doesn't seemvery reliable. Otherwise, i just seem to have a lot of support spells.

just beat donkey kong country :) easily one of my favorite platformers, the game was difficuly, but not to the point of impossibility. Sometimes the characters would miss jumps that appeared to be complete, or enemies would appear on the right side of the screen a little late, but other than that I found the game to be very challenging but rewarding. I was initially bugged by the scarcity of save points, but I ended up just seeing it as another challenge to overcome, plus it helped me master levels. Overall, great game- glad to have finally beat it.

So you were the other DKC player, what did think of K. Rool's little stunt at the ending? Surprised the hell out of me. The save points were the same for me, they added challenge. It's also one of my favorite platformers now.

I was pretty exhausted today so I only played a little bit of FFVIII before needing to get up and move around so I didnt fall asleep. Tried to kidnap the president, but a damn sorceress got in the way. Going into hiding now it seems. Squall is still a douche, but the game is getting slightly more interesting.

The Guardian Forces seem to be way too overpowered. You basically never need to use a normal attack since the GFs do 10+ times as much damage and since they dont use MP you can spam them as many times as you want. It really takes a lot of the strategy out of fighting. Does this change later on? So far every boss battle has been GF the hell out of them and they die in only a few turns.
