Resident Evil Mercenaries can't delete save file

Has anyone heard about this? Apparently the upcoming Resident Evil Mercenaries for 3DS doesn't allow you to delete your save data or start a 2nd save, most likely to avoid the 2nd hand market. I'm almost dumbfounded that Capcom would do this. I was going to buy this game tomorrow but now I think i'll boycott it. Cheers capcom!

thats horrible, good thing the only resident evil game i like are 2,3, and 4
