It is. With regular piracy you have a non-paying customer. With used games you have a paying customer who doesn't pay the people who made the game.
Also, don't they think that this will hurt sales even more? How many people can really afford to keep up on their gaming at $60 a pop. They're looking at the small picture. Losing a ton of fans because those fans simply can't afford it anymore is gonna hurt sales a lot more than used game sales do.
Ok, that's multiple times I've now seen people call it a $60 title. It's a 3DS game. It'll be $40.
Personally I don't have a problem with this. I'd like to see a slowdown of the "play once and resell" mentality. A few people have brought up that there's a used market for everything. While this is true, it seems only video games have such a high turnover. How many of you buy a movie, watch it once, and then resell it? How about buy a car, drive it a month, then resell it?
