The catch is, is that he has to go and dig the box out and find it. He said the only way he would do it is if Id give him 50 bucks if not he wasnt gonna sell it.

If the owner is too lazy to dig out the box then he doesn't deserve your business, I wonder if he treats all potential customers like that. Then again it could be worth it so who knows. Of course for $50 on ebay you could grab a decent 2600 lot that is confirmed working and know for sure what you're getting. I'd say pass on it.

But I have done some business there before and if you would like to look at my prior posts of what I have gotten for them and the prices ive paid and what its worth...like i paid 3.28 for 6 complete in the box unlicensed nes color dream games...the baby blue carts. They are in amazing condition. and I bought 22 boxed nes games complete for 50 bucks as well. Like they do not know what they have. And i completely feel the same way as you..but what if it is like all the other stuff....retro gold..for absolutely cheap lol...so i mean he said he had a ton of games..which im sure is over 25 so you gotta figure they are atleast 2 bucks a piece if they work...then again idk if they work...and i dont have a system to test them..maybe the games are in the box or with manuals lol..or maybe its an atari jaguar...cuz he just said 2 or 3 kinds? of atari's

I agree though, $50 is a lot to gamble on a box of stuff that might not might not work and the guy isn't even sure what's all in there. Yeah it might be buried under a bunch of stuff, but he's there to sell stuff and if he can't be bothered, you shouldn't either. Tell him you just can't spend $50 on it sight unseen, but if he gets around to "cleaning up" at some point and digs it out, you'd like to look as you are potentially interested. This way he knows you're interested and it might motivate him to clean up whatever pile of old unsold stuff it's buried under at some point.

Woke up early to hit up a garage sale I saw on CL that mentioned a sega and a bunch of games. Well.. it was pretty much some one's entire game collection with just about 100 games CIB with manuals and even some sealed. A sega CD side by side unit, menacer with box and some other weird 3rd party accessories in their boxes as well.

Unfortunately the $350 obo tag made me think twice. They had a list of games and there were some nice rares like Phantasy Star IV but beyond that I know little of sega game values. I offered $200 or so but they wouldn't budge off $300. I gave em my number and said to call if they couldn't move it... I get the feeling people aren't rolling up to a garage sale to spend $300 on old CIB sega stuff. So we'll see if that ends up becoming a reality


Picked up a few cheap controllers at another garage sale and two of those big entertainment center things that holds game systems and their games in a plastic case. One for a Nintendo and one for an Atari for $3 each.

Blue Stinger is great but it haves some gigantic flaws (The voice acting is probably the worst I've ever heard and I've played Martian Gothic, Deep Fear, Enchanted Arms, etc.).

The voice acting is so bad it's good. Cheese galore!...

The voice acting is definetely entertaining but it's still horrendous .

Anyways, grats on getting Medievil II, Heavy Rain and The Last Remnant, I love those games.

I actually found the English voice acting for Enchanted Arms to be quite good (with the exception of Yuki and Makoto)... one of the few JRPGs this gen with acceptable English dubs.

I still played the majority of the game with the Japanese voices, but still, I found the English VAs respectable, particularly Karin, Raigar, and Atsuma.

I must agree with you but Makoto alone destroyed the voice acting . It was still pretty funny, but I ended up changing the voices to japanese.

Yup, it sure did! It's UK/PAL only though (But has an NTSC mode so it can be played on a modded, pop-top or FreeMCBooted PS2) which was a major disappointment for us US fans.
