But I'm still not even sure if you're referring to Ra's al ghul training bruce to follow him (although it's never suggested that Bruce is going to become the next Ra's, I thought he was being used because of his knowledge of gotham) or if you're referring to Bruce following in his fathers footsteps of trying to help gotham, although he goes about it in pretty much the exact opposite way.Luke wrote:It applies because it is exactly what you are referring to; the passing of the torch. Either way, one Batman is not training another to become his successor. And it's not the same as Dick Grayson becoming Batman or John stewart taking over for Hal Jordan. Which is what I was saying I wanted to see, an established and known superhero character, facing his last days at a superhero, and training the next one to take over for him.
