Why not keep it at 720p, 1080p I hardly can see the difference. I was wondering if there was a force 480p or above homebrew apps for wii. I know ps2 can be forced 480p or above vary results.

You're probably thinking of XBox 1. Xbox 1, through homebrew, can display up to 720p. Dreamcast, GameCube, PS2 and the Wii have a maximum resolution of 480p. Those systems cannot produce anything higher no matter what anyone tells you.

The PS2 can output 1080i as seen in Gran Torismo 4, you can also use a GS Mode Selector to force it into 720P/1080i mode though the comparability is meant to be overtly low.Those systems cannot produce anything higher no matter what anyone tells you.
