Have you ever bought games for consoles you don't own?
Re: Have you ever bought games for consoles you don't own?
I bought Earthworm Jim SE years before I actually had a Sega CD.
I've also bought games on holiday sales for systems I didn't yet have - though in those cases I justified it by finding friends/family who did have those systems to give them to as gifts. Pretty sure some of them are still in the shrink wrap though.

I had many DS, 360, and Wii games before I bought systems. I believe the first time I did it was CV SOTN to play on Bleem right before I got a PS2 and the second was an import copy of Shienryu before I had a Saturn. My boss at the time was buying an import Saturn and the seller had it cheap so he tacked it on his order for me. Four years later I got a Saturn and means to play the game.

No argument from me, but the "console" itself is hardly worth owning, with the exception of only a few games. I'm missing the adapter and connecting wire from my 32x, and I doubt I'll ever pay the 40$ for replacements on Ebay.dsheinem wrote:What's wrong with Doom 32X? You can use a model 2 Genesis or Game Gear power adapter, as it used the same one. I see those for pretty cheap fairly regularly.Retrogamer0001 wrote:No argument from me, but the "console" itself is hardly worth owning, with the exception of only a few games. If you are using a model 2 Genesis, then you only need a male to male 9 pin mini din cable to connect them. I purchased a 3 foot one from stockcable.com and use for my 32X. It was under ten dollars:

How cheap does the PS2 have to get for you to buy? They're already only about $40 used.TEKTORO wrote:I own a couple of PS3 games and a few PS2 games I dont have a system to play them on,but will when price is right.

You are right PS2 being really cheap,I guess Im waiting for the new prices to go down on both systems then $80 or less on ps2 and $150 or less for ps3.Recently it was games for the Turbo Duo I owned with no system to play.BoringSupreez wrote:How cheap does the PS2 have to get for you to buy? i just picked up both Shenmue games on the Dreamcast.. which I dont have
also have some Master System games, without having a MS
but the worst thing is, that i have about 30 Xbox 360 games.. and I sold my X360 a year ago and still haven't bought a new one ^^
