Have you ever bought games for consoles you don't own?
Re: Have you ever bought games for consoles you don't own?
The only time I bought a game for a console I didn't own was Daytona USA for the Sega Saturn. The Saturn suddenly came out, and it was $400, so I wasn't prepared at all. I knew I would get one later, so that's why I bought Daytona. Man, that game was mind blowing. Those graphics were the best I had ever seen.

Picked up both Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, and NHL '94 for the SEGA CD today for a buck each (garage sale). I've yet to get my hands on a working SCD though.

I still buy DS games, even though my DS Lite got robbed by a maid
. Thankfully the system was in japanese and she didn't even take the charger so she's also a shitty robber.

I still pick up games for my now defunct Genesis and PS2. I know that I'll get these consoles again, so it's not that big of a deal. If the price is right, I would definitely purchase games for the systems I don't have. I don't recall doing too much of that in the past, but it's always on the table.

I still have that MSX2 game without a way to use it. It'll go on ebay soon enough.
Lum fan.

What's wrong with Doom 32X? There's a good argument to be made that it was the best home port for many years...Retrogamer0001 wrote:Ha, unfortunately. Most recently was Doom on the 32x...ew.

Does the Super Gameboy adaptor count? I bought one at the Swap Meet even though I don't have a SNES. Kinda useless considering the superior GB Player on the Gamecube, but a novelty to own.
