I was thinking along similar lines as Mr. Popo, but instead of Marble Madness, I imagined Solstice and Snake, Rattle, & Roll.

Snake Rattle & Roll is an evil evil game. I had it as a kid and if I was lucky I could make it to stage 4. Some of the evilest jumps known to man.

Hmm, I was going to say Super Dodgeball, but the sheer amount of screen flicker might cause headaches or worse.

Crystalis would have cool 3DS effect, I think.

And we need a Beat-em-up too. Maybe Battletoads (or BT vs. Double Dragon).

3D World Runner!

Maybe something like Laser Invasion. Punch Out seems like a pretty surefire bet for this.

Yes, it was brutal. I never completed this game despite many attempts. The last level always broke me. The jumps just get impossible.

I watched a Let's Play of it just to see what the later levels were like, and man, it was nasty. Not to mention the final boss fight.

Agree with Punch Out. Also, Prince of Persia, just for the heck of it.

Nightshade. AND ADD A SAVE FEATURE!

Crystalis. DAMMIT, RECOGNIZE THIS GAME!

If Link could take his Adventure to 3D and get to wear masks and use flutes, then SNK could... oh wait.
