I think I'm in the minority, but I am totally digging this idea.
I really like that idea as well. I did not touch the DC universe too heavily, but this may be the invitation I was looking for.
While I like that they are resetting them to make it easier for those who haven't been following them for years, I don't like that they are changing the setting to be more modern.

I always loved the 1950s feel of the DC Universe. It gave it a certain charm that you couldn't find with Marvel and everyone else.

I'm excited as well. I've already seen this all happen in 1986 when the original Crisis on Infinite Earths happened and they restarted the universe creating the Post-Crisis DC Universe. It all turned out great then, so I can't wait to see what happens this time around.

Just like the first time, though, it's bound to alienate some longtime fans. If it's as successful as the first time, they'll gain far more new fans than they'll lose old fans, though.

I'm ESPECIALLY excited to hear that Geoff Johns and Jim Lee will be teaming-up to bring us the new JLA ongoing.

Fine by me as long as they do Batman right, which is really all I care about quite frankly

IGN just gave Green Lantern 2 out of 5 stars in this review. Thought it would be interesting to see the responses.

Edit:The video [urlhttp://youtu.be/Ykovq79605U]review[/url] is the written in a nutshell.

This is supposed to be the new Harley Quinn...

...and I thought the Arkham City redesign looked bad, this doesn't even remotely resemble her.

I actually preferred her Arkham City design to her Arkham Asylum one. The nurse outfit set my fetish raydar off, and not in a good way. Of course, I still love her original design. I wish they would have incorporated her two-tone color scheme of red/black into the new design a bit more. I mean it's there, but it's a little too subtle for my tastes. But maybe they thought that would compete with Two Face too much somehow. :?

I agree about the above design though. That just looks plain awful. Just because you put her in a horribly skimpy outfit doesn't mean we're not going to notice the horrible design choices you've made.

I didn't see your text until I had seen the image for a few seconds. I was trying to figure out what it was, but gave up and read your text. I can't believe that's supposed to be Harley Quinn. They've ruined her.

Pretty much agree with the review. My afterthoughts attached, so don't click unless you want to spoil yourself.

Don't worry, I'm sure Marvel is rebooting their universe too.

*grumble grumble*

I think I'm going to stay out of comics for awhile again. Just... just because. (This stuff doesn't happen to Atomic Robo! No siree!)
My scheduling skills have died of dysentery; I hope to visit at least on a monthly basis.
Still, don't forget to tip your waitress.
