Soundtrack to the apocalypse

Post by Gamerforlife »

This is a weird idea that popped into my head after seeing a random youtube comment about the song used for the E3 trailer for the Darkness II. With all the recent end of the world stuff that happened leading up to May 20th, the year 2012 right around the corner, and the popularity of zombies in the entertainment world right now I was wondering, if the apocalypse had a soundtrack, what songs would you have on it? I imagine some of you metal heads could have fun with this topic, but you don't all have to suggest metal songs

I'll suggest:

Jen Titus - O Death
Metallica - Creeping Death
Michael Jackson - Thriller(Just because I want to see dancing zombies at the apocalypse:)
John Murphy - In the House in a Heartbeat
The Main theme from Dead Nation
High on Fire - Fire, Flood and Plague

+1 for the four horsemen. When the apocalypse was "definitely going to happen" last month, I listened to Refined in the Fire by Winds of Plague and The Hero by Amon Amarth. Just in case

I was gonna put Four Horsemen by Metallica, but went with Creeping Death. Both great choices though. In my mind though, when I picture the chaos of the apocalypse happening somehow I can actually hear Creeping Death playing as people are fighting demons on the streets and running from zombies with things exploding everywhre. The song just has this chaotic, intense feel to it.

Album - Ohio
Artist - [Daryl]
Tracks 5 - 12 in order.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Shit, that's awesome. Never heard that before. I wanna be blasting that in my headphones as I'm riding around on my motorcycle blasting heads off zombies

Don't ask me why but I find this to be incredibly fitting:

I know it's pop (And a cover) but it haves a sad feeling to it.
