Starhawk

This is a new PS3 game and as far as I can tell from the trailer it is Red Dead Redemption meets Killzone meets Halo meets Transformers meets Rage. Basically they took everything that sells, threw it in the dryer, and turned on the spin cycle for a few hours.

Starhawk isn't quite a new IP. It's a Warhawk sequel, as far as I know.

Good idea for a thread though, I definitely wouldn't have the initiative to wade through the abyss of sequels and remakes announced to find some new IPs.

Looks like a very, very odd third-person shooter from Konami.

^ my bad. It looked new to me.

Medieval Moves: Deadmund's Quest

This is a game for the Playstation Move that lets you use a bunch of medieval weapons such as a sword, bow and arrows, and throwing stars. Everything is controlled with the wand and you switch weapons by altering your gestures. The graphics are sort of cutesy, but detailed. It might be fun.

I am glad that there are some new IP's coming out - but none of them look that interesting except for Awesomenauts which I like for its name alone.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Ryse (Kinect)

Looks like a mash of the PS Move game where you had a sheild and ancient Rome. Should be cool if you're one of the few with a Kinect.

Ryse looks pretty cool. I'd be interested to try that one. I've been wanting to try something with motion controls that is a little more dramatic.

Starhawk is a spiritual successor to Warhawk. I personally can't wait. I love the idea of dropping buildings out of the sky on my friends.

It also has mechs, and mechs make everything better.

Sega is doing their best to tarnish the Kinect's family friendly image by releasing this little bit of videogaming torture porn. In this motion controlled survival horror game you have been trapped in the dungeon of some sicko killer that wants to ruin your life in a painful way and you are trying to escape by finding weapons like sticks, brass knuckles, and chainsaws. You mime out the movements of these weapons with the Kinect controls so you can look completely mental to your neighbors that happen to walk by your window while you're beating down murderering clowns with an invisible stick and a look of terror across your face.

I think I liked the Sega who announced new IPs like NiGHTS and Samba de Amigo better than this Sega.
