What was the last movie you've seen?
Re: What was the last movie you've seen?
Watched Gnomeo and Juliet with the kid. He loved it, and it wasn't so stupid that I couldn't watch it.

raiders of the lost ark
i have seen bits and pieces of this trilogy but never sat down to watch a movie from being to end. i was kind of disappointed. it was okay/good, but i sure didn't think it was great. and it was hard to understand the dialogue in some parts. maybe that means i need to start turning down the stereo in my car.

So Netflix just sent you Megamind without you asking? They just send you random movies? "Hey, I know, let's send Bradtemple87 Megamind today, just to screw with him."Bradtemple87 wrote:Netflix sent me Megamind. It was ok but definitely not How to Train Your Dragon

Re: What was the last movie you've seen?

Started watching Fame last night. Still got it on pause. I mostly just wanted to take a cinematic tour of New York, but aside from that, Fame is awesome. And I mean the original, though the pseudo-remake is a very distant second.
Also watching the following films intermittently (i.e. a little bit at a time every so often, mostly when I'm alone and have the living room to myself, where the DVR is located):

Seen it before. Like it alot. Why the hell don't I own the DVD? And WTF is up with IFC showing commercial breaks?

Started watching this yesterday, DVR'ed solely as part of my cinematic NYC tour.

...
And Millennium Actress is on my list of to-watch movies.
Also, on Hulu Plus, they've got The Crow (awesome), The Crow: City of Angels (distant second to The Crow, but the next two (Salvation and Wicked Prayer) only aspire to be dead last), all of the Kevin Smith movies from Miramax (Dogma and Mallrats are Lionsgate and Universal films, respectively), the first two Scream movies, Pulp Fiction, and From Dusk Til Dawn, all recent adds.

The first 5 to 10 movies in my queue all show some sort of waiting period next to their availability, so it is always a surprise when they send me an email and decide what to send me.BoringSupreez wrote:So Netflix just sent you Megamind without you asking? I just got Ice Age: The Meltdown, form Netflix, I didn't get to finish it though, doint that later. Really good movie so far though.
I was planning on watching UP next, and finishing Megamind later, which I was also unable to finish watching also

Yeah, I don't think I'd enjoy any film I watched like that either.

Anyways, just watched Unknown with Liam Neeson. Very good thriller. Well worth the look... ^^
