I'd buy that for a dollar.

I thought they were going to add Juli and Juni before Evil Ryu and Oni were announced.

So I started doing the challenges for Juri and I am having a heck of time pulling off some of the double quarter-circle moves with the Dual Shock 3. Am I the only one? I think I may have to get a fighting stick. I should be on tomorrow night (maybe tonight, but I don't want to commit yet.) I'm sure I can find recommendations elsewhere for a good stick, but maybe you can let me know what thread that is in?

I have this one by MadCatz

I like it a lot. And I actually found it collecting dust on the shelves at GameStop for $35!

I use the same one noise uses - i'm replacing the joystick soon though, not smooth and controlled enough on the 1/4 and 1/2 circles that end at even/middle - end up jumping a lot.

I agree, some guys swear by traditional d-pad - and while many moves can be done easier, I find it difficult to use the d-pad w/thumb and still make full and regular use of the hard punch buttons above the thumb. Furthermore, my hands cramp after a good 15 mins on d-pad, I never cramp on the stick.

Also - you are like me in that we didn't play fighters in years and years - i'd suggest going w/someone very easy to do there power and special moves, I gained some confidence w/Zangief and Balrog and then moved on to more difficulte characters.

Good plan. I've always found Zangief to be to slow for me though, maybe Guile or the old standby Ryu/Ken.

Not familiar w/that particular stick - though HORI rarely disappoints. There are some very nice PS3 sticks out there that don't require any modding to already be legit. I think sevin knows of one for sure, but I can't place the name...sevin?
