You're still good.

What are the benefits of PlayStation Plus? I understand they get free themes and avatars (Useless to me) and free games every month that they only get to keep for that month. Also there are occasionally special sales going on for only the Plus subscribers.

Is there something else that I'm missing?
I had PlayStation Plus for three months. Got it for the DC Universe Online beta. Also got a ton of games at discounted prices (all the PS1 Imports were half off - sweet deal), free Stacking when it was a brand new game, various free content, DLC, as well as the occasional other free games, like PSP Minis and PS1 Classics.

All in all, it was a pretty sweet deal. Stacking alone was $15 at the time - the 3 month sub was $18. I gotta game I wanted, I got into the beta for DCUO, and I got loads of extra discounts and free shit. It's kinda hard to beat that.

Don't see why free themes and avatars are useless, sure not the best thing, but its nice to download them and have some variety.

But anyways, to answer your question, aside from what you said, you get the following:

-Cloud Save Storage 150MB or 1000 files
-Early demo and game Betas if they fall into the time frame of your subscription (Uncharted 3 beta does)
-Automatic downloads and installs on recently played games, so you don't have to sit and patch before you play
-Free episodes of Qore
-Full game trails, an hour long rental of a full game, to try it out. Being the full game, no features are locked out.

Oh and those sales are not occasional, they are every content update of the store. We will be seeing 2 a week for quite a while.
I only meant the themes and avatars were useless. And those hour long game trials. Are they for anything released on PSN? Or only select titles?

You got Stacking for free and got to keep it? How?

And for the record, I also got into the DCUO beta and I've never had PSPlus.

Only select titles, usually the retail games that are avaible for download, such as Borderlands or Assasins Creed 2.

Stacking was a special 1 time promo.

Many beta have earlier access for Plus subcribers, even if it does allow more to play later.

But really, if you are not buying a lot of content on PSN in the first place its not worth it. If you do, the discounts and free games make the value incredible.

Okay, so I got:

LittleBigPlanet
LittleBigPlanet for PSP
Infamous
Pursuit Force

Pursuit Force just looks too much fun, like an old school arcade game. I couldn't resist. The youtube vids I saw for Killzone didn't really resonate with me.

Man, these downloads take forever
