Ditto. My biggest hope for this game is that it still has retained a lot of its late 90's / early 2000's ... aesthetics, design, idea's, gameplay, etc, however you want to put it. Which I remember in one interview Gearbox and 3DR did say it should have some of the elements still with them saying it's like a combination of the old meets new.MrPopo wrote:That's the exact wrong reason to give for a game like this, where the whole reason we want it is because we liked 1996.brunoafh wrote:I saw the official statement, it's a total joke. Controllers being an issue with so many weapons is baloney. Never once has that been an issue in console FPS's that I've played, I remember Red Faction had a similar system like Half-Life 1-2 where the weapons were categorized in dropdown menu's or something... can't remember how it worked, maybe you hit another button to scroll down in those quick menu's to select the weapons. Doom 3 was never an issue either. Point is, it was never an issue and that's a pretty lame excuse if you ask me. Surely the d-pad or something could have been used for it.
