Are you referencing the mule line in A Fistful of Dollars? That's the best film in the Man With No Name Trilogy, hardly limited to knowledge for die-hards. Start quoting The Colossus of Rhodes, then we'll talk die-hard Leone fandom...CRTGAMER wrote:"Are you making fun of my Movie?*"BoringSupreez wrote:I have a movie question, and I figured this would be the place to ask. I'm thinking about watching True Grit, the new version, and I was wondering: is this a good enough movie that even someone like me who isn't a cowboy movie fan would enjoy it?

What was the last movie you've seen?

It does seem like a lot. Like toyrobo said, they're going for 6.Gamerforlife wrote:I want to see that too. I think the first one was actually kind of brilliant, especially for a guy like me who likes martial arts movies and even studied shaolin kung fu when I was young. They plan on making Kung Fu Panda a franchise though, which could be a bad thing actually
However, after seeing the second one, which was freaking amazing, I have faith they'll do it right.
They seem to have a lot of respect for this story and world, which is the right attitude to have.

I have focused a lot more on film than games recently- easier for me to do time wise

That's what I thought after seeing the second Shrek film. Poor, poor ogreCFFJR wrote:....However, after seeing the second one, which was freaking amazing, I have faith they'll do it right.

It seems only Harry Potter has handled going over three movies well from what people tell me. I'd like to see the same happen here. I am always skeptical of the quality of anything that goes over three installments, that includes video games. I'm not saying it can't be done thoughCFFJR wrote:It does seem like a lot. It's just...
Damn it. I don't know what to say to that.
I liked Shrek 3 and 4 ok, but they certainly didn't match up to 1 and 2.
I will say this. To me, Kung Fu Panda is already the better series. Panda 1 and 2 are both far superior to Shrek 1 and 2, so all I can do is have faith.

That's understandable. In many cases everything does go down the crapper in one way or another.Gamerforlife wrote:It seems only Harry Potter has handled going over three movies well from what people tell me. I can't speak for Harry Potter though; I haven't seen any of them and I don't intend to.
You never know though. So here's hoping.
