Different Majora's Mask cart labels.
I just got an NTSC-US Majora's Mask CIB and it turns out to have a different label from the one I usually see on Ebay. How come there are carts with different labels? I could not find anything concrete through Google.
Mostly harmless

Pictures would be nice. Chances could be the ones you saw on Ebay were not legit, or possibly PAL region, etc.

Most likely a different region.

These is also a hologram version of the NTSC cart.

I see. I always thought that the US version had the same label as the PAL one (which I have as well). I just got my Ebay.com and Ebay.co.uk images confused.
But that still means that there are hologram and "normal: versions of the NTSC label. How did that happen? Which one is rarer?

The standard Japanese cart for MM is a gray card with the collectors edition being a gold cart.
In the states the standard cart is a gold cart and the collectors edition is a gold cart with a holographic label.

I've seen little to indicate that the holographic version of Majora's Mask is any more valuable than the non-holo one.

That and OoT are just about the only games I've managed to keep in perfect shape, CIB and all.
Re: Different Majora's Mask cart labels.
The hologram label version does look nicer, for me the one to own. I read somewhere that the non hologram version was produced in a smaller number. As far as value ten years from now, who knows.

Off topic, Isn't there a special edition Australian version that's supposed to be rare? I remember reading about it in Gamesmaster years ago. Could be a load of rubbish though.
