I would recommend Shadow Hearts. I really enjoyed that game. Apparently the 2nd one is really good as well, but I wasn't able to get into it as quickly as the first.brunoafh wrote:
Next up will either be Suikoden III or Shadow Hearts.

oh shit, I just beat jfe2 in a race!noiseredux wrote:I'm focusing on Chrono Trigger as well right now. PS1 version. I can confirm that the loading times are horrendous. Normally loading times don't bother me. This is noticeably bad. BUT that aside, seems like an awesome game for the first half hour anyway.

Re: What RPG are you playing right now?
I just sent my DSi XL off to get the warranty repair so I won't have it for a couple of weeks. There are a few stuck rainbow pixels in the middle of the screen that have been bothering me.
I'm continuing to play Ocarina of Time on Wii VC and am really enjoying it. I just defeated the Boss Dodongo and am trying to make my way to the top of Death Mountain.
The game has pretty good graphics. The story is good so far. The music is great. So yeah, I can see why someone might call this the best Zelda game of all time.
I'm still getting comfortable with the controls. I seem to have issues with bomb throwing. I can't seem to throw it accurately. Z-targeting doesn't seem to work well for bombs.

Did you happen to get the manual as well? If so, is it much help?Jmustang1968 wrote:Still playing through tactics ogre on psp. On chapter 4 and loving the remake to one of my favorite games of all time.

Phantasy Star II about to go into the control tower so I can open the dams.
Thanks everyone...

I assume you mean the strat guide? If so, ya it is pretty good. I don't get them often as gamefaqs usually does the trick if I get stuck. I try to avoid just following a guide to play my games. But in TO I don't want to miss any secret characters...puke_face wrote:Did you happen to get the manual as well? If so, is it much help?Jmustang1968 wrote:Still playing through tactics ogre on psp. If you just want help, gamefaqs has it all. If you want a nice physical guide for the collectability and art then the strat guide is a worthy purchase.

Yeah, Strategy guide is what I meant. I tend to collect strategy guides for those two reasons. That and I can't ever make it through an RPG/Tactical RPG without one.Jmustang1968 wrote:I assume you mean the strat guide? If so, ya it is pretty good. Been gunning out the .hack series on the PS2. I like how the game plays and probably why I'm still playing these games (on the 4th on) since I have no idea what is going on story wise.

Not sure if you're an anime fan or not, but there's a decent anime that came before the game. It's hit and miss though, I liked it, all my friends who are anime addicts hated it.itsmattxp wrote:Been gunning out the .hack series on the PS2. I've been playing Star Ocean (On an emulator...) and I'm loving it so far. Will Roak ever be saved?!
I thought what I'd do was, I'd pretend I was one of those deaf-mutes.
