It can still be female. Neither Glados nor Shodan have genetalia either.

Wouldn't they all be asexual, then?

Glados would be my favorite female villain. Also, if Lavos is female (it's not known what gender it is), that would be my second.

Oh, I think everyone loves Harley. No argument there
Aw. I love Harley. I was kinda pissed that she wasn't in Dark Knight in some fashion. I know she didn't come into the story until much later, but I still would have been psyched to see at least a cameo of her. Just seeing some looney doing a cartwheel in the background in her outfit would have made me happy.
I'm still holding onto hope that she'll pop up in a later Nolan batman movie, even if Ledger's death makes it unlikely.

She does have an awesome appearance in Batman Beyond:Return of the Joker, but a live action movie appearance seems unfortunately unlikely

Anyway, gotta mention Eden from Rez in this topic

and the queen from Ico

Leave it to the ladies to finish out these awesome games in epic fashion

Oh I still have hope. Harley did, after all, hang out a lot with Ivy in comics and the animated show as I recall. But I fear once Ledger died, any good chance of her showing up at all in the movies died with him. Shame too. She would have been the perfect person to bust the Joker out of prison. Of course, Her and Ivy made for an interesting team too. So I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Though not the same way Batgirl here seems to imply

That's true, she does. "Sweetie! Get mommy's bazooka!" Lovely.

That was such a great line! That comic you posted is hilarious too.

It's not really worth mentioning, but Harley was in that tv show Birds of Prey. She was nothing like the Harley we know though

God, that show was such a dissapointment
