Yes, with a couple small caveats:

1) You'll need to swap the shoulder buttons too, or shim the old ones up a bit.

2) You'll need to swap the cable too, since you need the USB end.

Seeing this thread again made me check ebay again. This auction has 2 controllers for $40 shipped. That's a pretty good deal. And hey, you'll need 2 controllers for 2 player DoDonPachi anyway.
