I think we've discussed this one before on site. I'm a fan! The bosses consecutively evolve depending on some parameters of how you defeated the previous one and also depending on what has killed you before (so if you die to lasers and kill the boss from the front, the next boss will have more lasers and more front armor).

There is a particular "evolution" path which was a bit tricky to get, but I managed to get all ten or so "named" Bosses.

Fun game, I'm really liking it. I played it once, then uninstalled it to move it to a new folder. (Not sure why I didn't just move it, but oh well.) I played it three times today, although I'll probably be playing it after I get more work done.

Score so far (score, stage, deaths, time):

1st attempt: 2977600 9 8 4:20:00
2nd attempt: 3846700 10 7 5:29:49
3rd attempt: 4279900 11 5 6:34:36

It's a slow moving progress, but hopefully after a few more bouts, I'll get good at it.

I just realized that you have a review of this published on the main site from years ago. Nice one.

It's a nice review. Others should read it.

I remember introducing this game to my school by playing it in a computer lab room. One kid asks what it is and then it slowly invaded all the screens in the computer labs.

Solid game and solid indie developer although haven't heard much from this guy in years (http://www18.big.or.jp/~hikoza/)

If you like his work, you probably would like ABA games as well (http://www.asahi-net.or.jp/~cs8k-cyu/index_e.html)
