I'm about to get Pokemon White and Black and I just have a few questions.
1) Does anyone know if it's possible at all to get any of the pokemon/items given out in special events?
2) What new changes or features should I be aware of going in, as I have been out of the game since Crystal?
3) Is it possible to get an Ekans/Arbok in either or both games?

Uh...yes? They give them out, so you can get them?Xelyx wrote: 1) Does anyone know if it's possible at all to get any of the pokemon/items given out in special events?

New moves
Abilities
IVs now max out at 31 instead of 16
Wi-Fi
Dream World
And WAY more that I can't think of right now.
Dunno why you'd want that, Arbok stinks.Xelyx wrote: 3) Is it possible to get an Ekans/Arbok in either or both games?
It's not available in-game. It might (probably) be possible via the Dream World, but I can't find confirmation of it. Otherwise, you can get one from another version (R/S/E/FR/LG/D/P/Pt/HG/SS).

Thanks for the quick reply. Arbok was just always my favorite. I actually meant pokemon from previous events, though.

You can transfer them to Black and White if you already have them for other versions.Xelyx wrote:Thanks for the quick reply. Arbok was just always my favorite. I actually meant pokemon from previous events, though.
If you don't, there are a few sites out there that have traders willing to trade clones of events (or even hack them). I only know of one site in particular and I would never ever ever recommend them to anybody.

White and Black were okay. But do you really want to spend top dollar on 'okay'?
Go for one of the mystery dungeon games. That'll get you your money's worth, IMO.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

The problem I have with this advice is that it's like saying "Final Fantasy IV was good, but you should check out Final Fantasy Tactics instead". They're completely separate genres.Flake wrote:White and Black were okay. But do you really want to spend top dollar on 'okay'?

Yeah, I don't want any hacked Pokemon. I was kind of hoping someone here might be able to help me out.YoshiEgg25 wrote:You can transfer them to Black and White if you already have them for other versions.Xelyx wrote:Thanks for the quick reply.
