Just had a great set of matches with mjm and sev. Damn Sakura!

Puzzle Fighter is my favorite puzzle game of all time. There's a PSN version with online?the7k wrote:Hey Noise, sorry I couldn't play ya in some Mahvel last night. Frankly felt like crap and just slept as soon as I got back from work. Lemme know when you wanna throw down, and I'll try not to disappoint again.
It'd be interesting to try some different genres too, some time. I'd personally like to try some ModNation with the Racketboy group some time. Puzzle Fighter might be fun as well.

@ the7k
how about a rematch on SSF4?
MVC3 is not for me yet.

Eh, I can't play SSF4. Too defensive. If you play that game offensively, you are at a severe disadvantage. High-speed rush-down has been and always will be the way I play any fighter - unless there is a really compelling counter-based character like Yamazaki, which SSF4 strangely lacks completely.sevin0seven wrote:@ the7k

Only one way I can enjoy SSF4:

and your good at those high-speed rush-down fighting games. i guess i'm the opposite fighter. i like to take it slow and think (with defense + offense) like SSF4. how about KOF XII then?the7k wrote:Eh, I can't play SSF4. I'd like to play mvc3 as well. I'd be putting up a hell of a fight for you guys then.
Unfortunately, I have it for 360, so... oh well.
Of course, mvc3 would be a problem to play in our big groups anyway since the lobby setup is such a pile of crap. There's only one way to fight and you can't watch fights in progress. That translates to boring as hell for everybody waiting.
@7k, I like rushdown too. That's probably why I've always had such a hard time with street fighter, its hard to close in quickly and the game forces me to play in a more deliberate way that's tough for me to get used to.
The other day I tried to use Guy, who has a couple of moves that close the distance fast, and Noise completely stopped me and wrecked my shit with pretty much no effort.

Ok I just got my ps3 and a copy of SSF4. I've never played street fighter 4 before so it's gonna take some time for me to get past the beginner level but I'm good for some games. PSN is J-thunders90

you just gotta get to know your character's personality. also when you fight you have to think defense and offense at 50/50.CFFJR wrote:The other day I tried to use Guy, who has a couple of moves that close the distance fast, and Noise completely stopped me and wrecked my shit with pretty much no effort.
