hey guys, I'll put put up a blog post later today , but I'm so excited about this. HardCoreGaming101 has been working on a book for a couple years now and it's finally done. It's a complete history of the "golden age" of adventure games. If you know HG101, then you know this is serious and thorough reading. It's a huuuuuuuge tome worthy of the HG101 name, as it's a real education in the genre.

and of course I'm so honored and excited that Kurt included a (short) essay I wrote on Scooby-Doo Classic Creep Capers for GBC.

Full info, table of contents and link to order the book at the link above.

Just bought it! Not that I am short on things to read at the moment, but I'm all for supporting HG101 and I'm short on knowledge of the genre...

This looks pretty awesome. I would love to learn a bit more about some of the graphic adventures I've finished like Day of the Tentacle

Just bought it! Adventures games on the PC brings back some really great memories for me, plus anything Kurt does is usually fantastic. Thanks for the heads up!

Pardon my ignorance but what's up with the candles around the King's Quest creator on the back page? I read the page and it didn't say anything about an homage or dedication (if she passed).
